Job Description – Account Executive (Logistics)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Account Executive to join our Logistics team. The ideal candidate should have experience in accounting, billing, GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, and handling transport-related financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain daily accounting records.
- Generate customer invoices and process transport billing.
- Record vendor bills and transport expenses.
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Perform bank reconciliation (BRS).
- Prepare GST data, reconcile GST reports, and coordinate with the CA for return filing.
- Deduct and maintain TDS records.
- Process vendor and transporter payments.
- Reconcile customer and vendor ledgers.
- Prepare daily MIS reports and financial reports.
- Maintain cash book, petty cash,



and payment vouchers.
- Coordinate with the operations and billing teams to resolve accounting-related issues.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of invoices, PODs, and supporting documents.
- Assist during internal and statutory audits.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Basic Formulas).
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work under deadlines with accuracy.

Qualification

- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of experience in Accounting, preferably in the Logistics or Transportation industry.
