Role Overview
The Assistant Category Manager will support the end-to-end management of assigned product categories on e-commerce platforms. The role involves managing product listings and catalogs, monitoring pricing and promotions, analyzing market and competitor trends, and tracking category performance. The candidate will work closely with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth operations and identify opportunities to improve sales, visibility, conversion, and overall category growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in managing and growing assigned product categories across e-commerce platforms.
- Manage product listings, catalog creation, product descriptions, images, attributes, and inventory updates.
- Ensure product catalogs are accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Monitor pricing, discounts, promotions, and offers to improve sales and competitiveness.
- Track category performance, sales, inventory, and key business metrics.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends, pricing opportunities, and new products.
- Coordinate with vendors, internal teams, marketing, operations,



and customer support for smooth category operations.
- Identify products with low sales, high returns, or poor visibility and suggest corrective actions.
- Support promotional campaigns and ensure timely execution across e-commerce platforms.
- Prepare regular reports and provide insights to improve sales, conversion, and category profitability.
- Maintain strong attention to detail and ensure all category-related activities are completed accurately and on time.

Required Skills:

- Good understanding of E-commerce Operations and Category Management
- Experience with Product Listing & Catalog Management
- Understanding of Pricing & Promotions
- Basic Market & Competitor Analysis
- Good Excel/Google Sheets skills
- Robust analytical and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset

- Experience: Atleast 2years

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
