About the Role

We are seeking a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on psychiatric assessment, mental health care, psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, behavioral health, and AI-generated clinical content evaluation.

In this role, you will evaluate AI-generated psychiatric assessments, differential diagnoses, treatment recommendations, medication guidance, behavioral health documentation, patient education materials, and clinical reasoning. Your expertise will help improve AI systems designed for mental health support, clinical decision-making, healthcare documentation, and medical education.

This position is ideal for licensed Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioners with experience in outpatient psychiatry, inpatient behavioral health, telepsychiatry, community mental health, or integrated behavioral healthcare.

Responsibilities

- Review AI-generated psychiatric evaluations, treatment plans, medication recommendations, SOAP notes, progress notes, discharge summaries, and patient counseling content.
- Evaluate clinical reasoning involving mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, trauma-related disorders, substance use disorders, personality disorders, ADHD, and other psychiatric conditions.
- Verify AI-generated recommendations using current psychiatric guidelines, DSM-5-TR diagnostic criteria,



evidence-based practice, and established clinical protocols.
- Identify diagnostic inaccuracies, medication safety concerns, contraindications, documentation deficiencies, unsupported recommendations, and clinical reasoning gaps.
- Provide structured feedback to improve AI performance in psychiatric assessment, mental healthcare, clinical documentation, and behavioral health reasoning.
- Review peer-developed deliverables to maintain quality and consistency standards.

Requirements

- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with specialization as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) from an accredited institution.
- Active PMHNP certification and unrestricted nursing licensure in the country or state of practice are required.
- 2+ years of hands-on clinical experience as a PMHNP in psychiatric or behavioral healthcare settings.
- Conducting psychiatric evaluations and mental status examinations.
- Diagnosing and managing common psychiatric disorders across the lifespan.
- Prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications where authorized.
- Developing individualized treatment plans and patient education materials.
- Reviewing AI-generated psychiatric content for clinical accuracy and patient safety.
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Excellent clinical reasoning, analytical thinking,



and written English communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and ethical practice.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in outpatient psychiatry, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, community mental health centers, emergency psychiatry, addiction medicine, telepsychiatry, or integrated primary care.
- Experience treating pediatric, adolescent, adult, or geriatric psychiatric populations.
- Expertise in one or more areas such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, addiction psychiatry, trauma-informed care, women's mental health, or child and adolescent psychiatry.
- Experience evaluating AI-generated psychiatric documentation, clinical decision-support systems, behavioral health chatbots, or medical education content.
- Familiarity with Generative AI, prompt engineering, RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback), AI benchmarking, or healthcare AI evaluation is an advantage.
- Board certification, teaching experience, research publications, or involvement in clinical guideline development are highly desirable.
