Business Analytics Developer

Experience – 3+ years

Location – Remote (India)

Requirements:

- Translating requirements into technical specifications for reporting.
- Review stakeholder business specifications for understanding development needs
- Design and develop custom data analytics solutions (SSRS, and SQL stored procedures, views and functions).
- Design and develop Power BI Reports and Dashboards for meeting business stakeholder needs
- Design, develop, and thoroughly test all developed scripts
- Perform ad hoc data analysis as needed or required
- Monitor KPIs and create alerts when thresholds are met or exceeded
- Use advanced level calculations on the data set using DAX functions within Power BI
- Test all dashboard visualization and code ensuring functionality and expected performance measures
- Fully document the process used and the methodologies implemented
- Train and support end users in using Power BI dashboards
- Ensure data security and compliance with best practices following internally provided SQL Standards

Skills needed:

- Minimum 3 years skilled experience as a Power BI Developer
- Minimum 3 years SSRS development experience
- Minimum 3 years SQL Server development experience




- Proficiency in Power BI Development, including report and dashboard creation
- Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization concepts
- Experience with T-SQL for data manipulation and extraction
- Knowledge of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for creating calculations
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proven ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences
- Ability to work independently and/or as a part of a team
- Adaptability to ever changing business requirements
- Ability to build rapport, cultivate working relationships and drive collaboration across teams
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, relevant fields and/or equivalent work experience

Nice to have:

Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Data Analyst Associate or Azure Data Scientist Associate Certification is a plus
