About the Role

We're supporting a UK-based organisation with a growing Data & Analytics function, looking for an experienced Data Engineer to build scalable data pipelines and trusted data products.

You'll work closely with technical and business teams, transforming data into reliable assets that support reporting, analytics and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Design and maintain scalable data pipelines using Microsoft FabricBuild and optimise ETL/ELT processes across multiple data sourcesDevelop governed datasets and data models for analytics and Power BIOptimise pipeline performance and follow CI/CD and version-control practicesSupport data quality, governance, security and complianceWork with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the business

Required Experience





Strong experience building data pipelines and ETL/ELT processesMicrosoft Fabric or comparable cloud data platform experienceStrong SQLExperience with Python / PySparkData modelling and data warehousing conceptsHands-on Power BI experience, including datasets and semantic modelsExperience with Git, CI/CD and DevOps practicesGood understanding of data quality, governance and security

Nice to Have

DAX, M (Power Query) and KQLGDPR / ISO27001 exposureExperience with machine learning data requirementsExperience coaching or mentoring other data professionals
