Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Solimar Developer to design, build, and sustain robust print and document processing solutions. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality report generation and document management services tailored to specific client needs. The successful candidate will leverage deep expertise in the Solimar ecosystem to manage the full lifecycle of print workflows, from initial development and unit testing to production deployment and ongoing support. This position requires a professional who can navigate complex technical environments while ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer-specific formatting standards.

Responsibilities

- Engineer and maintain comprehensive print and document processing workflows utilizing the Solimar Print Tool suite.

- Execute the full development lifecycle, including coding, modification, debugging, and optimization of print solutions.

- Collaborate across the Solimar application portfolio to integrate functionality and ensure seamless data flow.

- Implement and refine AXL statements and carriage-control commands to meet precise output specifications.

- Acquire necessary technical and business resources to facilitate efficient report creation and delivery.

- Design and develop custom reports that align with evolving business strategies and client demands.

- Conduct rigorous unit testing to identify and resolve report-related anomalies prior to release.

- Configure Xerox printer tray settings and adjust printer-specific parameters to optimize output quality.





- Perform advanced editing and manipulation of PDF documents to meet final delivery standards.

- Manage Change Requests (CRs) and oversee production deployment activities to ensure system stability.

- Utilize Jira and GitHub for effective issue tracking, version control, and deployment management.

- Operate proficiently within the Windows environment to support all development and testing activities.

- Deliver and support Customer Specific Formatting (CSF) requirements to ensure client satisfaction.

- Engage actively in project and status meetings, serving as a clear point of contact for technical and business stakeholders.

- Author and maintain Knowledge Capture (KC) documents to preserve institutional knowledge and support team onboarding.

- Provide timely technical resolutions for production incidents, adhering to agreed-upon service level agreements.

Requirements

- Proven hands-on proficiency with the Solimar Print Tool and its core sub-applications, including SPDE, Solfusion, Rubika Process Builder, Rubika Process Manager, SDX Designer, and Ximage.

- Strong command of AXL statements and carriage-control commands for document formatting.

- Extensive experience in report development, unit testing, and production deployment strategies.





- Technical expertise in configuring Xerox printer tray settings and managing PDF document manipulation.

- Familiarity with Change Request management processes and the ability to handle production support tickets.

- Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Jira for issue tracking and GitHub for version control.

- Solid working knowledge of the Windows operating system workplace.

- Ability to translate customer-specific requirements into technical solutions and documentation.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a track record of effective stakeholder engagement.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities to resolve complex technical challenges independently.

- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced production environment.

- Commitment to maintaining high-quality technical documentation and knowledge bases.
