Role: Transport Manager for School

Responsibilities

- Manage daily transportation operations to ensure timely and safe student commutes.

- Coordinate with drivers and support staff to maintain vehicle schedules and routes.

- Oversee vehicle maintenance, safety inspections, and compliance with all transport regulations.

- Handle driver recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.

- Address and resolve any transportation-related incidents or emergencies promptly.

- Monitor fuel consumption and manage the transport budget effectively.

Requirements

- Minimum of three years of proven experience in school transport management.

- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations.

- Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage a team.

- Proven track record in maintaining high safety standards and operational efficiency.

- Ability to handle emergencies and make quick, decisive decisions.

- Solid communication skills for interacting with parents, staff, and authorities.
