Please do not contact the recruiter directly.The Team:The Enterprise Resilience & Physical Security team is responsible for safeguarding Morningstar's offices, employees, and assets through the design, implementation, and day-to-day management of physical security programs across global locations. The team works closely with Facilities, IT, People & Culture, and other business functions to ensure a safe, secure, and resilient workplace while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.The Role:Morningstar is seeking a Security Analyst to support and execute the day-to-day physical security operations at our Mumbai office. In this role, you will serve as the primary local point of contact for security matters, managing security systems, responding to incidents, and supporting employees with security-related requests. You will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency of security platforms, ensuring compliance with policies, and promoting a strong culture of security awareness across the organization. You will also collaborate with regional and global teams on security initiatives, incident management, and continuous improvement of security processes. Reports to: Global Director of Enterprise Resilience & Physical SecurityResponsibilities:Serve as the primary operational point of contact for day-to-day physical security matters at the Mumbai office and coordinate with regional sitesMonitor and respond promptly to security alerts, alarms, and notificationsConduct regular operational checks of security systems, including CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systemsSupport the Facilities team in managing access control systems, including access requests, audits,
and compliance checksManage and maintain security technology platforms such as VMS and intrusion monitoring toolsConduct periodic access reviews to ensure adherence to least-privilege principles and security policiesMaintain accurate records, logs, and documentation of security system activitiesPromote a positive security culture and act as a visible point of contact for employee security concernsSupport security awareness initiatives, including training, campaigns, and internal communicationsAssist in developing awareness content such as emails, intranet updates, and digital signageAct as on-site coordinator for security incidents and escalate issues as appropriatePrepare detailed incident reports including timelines, actions taken, and follow-upsAssist with investigations related to security incidents, access anomalies, and policy violationsCoordinate access for vendors, contractors, and service personnel in collaboration with FacilitiesSupport physical security risk assessments and site evaluationsEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and local lawsLiaise with building management, local authorities, and internal stakeholders on security mattersSupport security-related projects, system upgrades, and new office setupsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Facilities, IT, People Team, and LegalRequirements:Bachelor's degree required; preferred in Security Management, Criminal Justice,
or related field1-3 years of experience in physical or corporate security operations within a professional environmentExperience with access control and video surveillance platforms (e.g., Lenel, Genetec, Milestone, Honeywell, Acre, Arcules, or similar)Proficiency in CCTV/VMS platforms and security monitoring toolsFamiliarity with physical security regulations in India, including the Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act, 2005, and Maharashtra regulationsWorking knowledge of fire safety, emergency response, and evacuation proceduresExperience working with security dashboards, reporting tools, or ticketing systemsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate documentationStrong communication skills in English, both written and verbalService-oriented approach with professionalism and responsivenessAbility to exercise sound judgment in assessing and escalating risksSelf-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and global teamsHigh level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential informationCertifications such as PSP, CPP, or equivalent are an added advantage Morningstar is an equal opportunity employer.Morningstar's hybrid work environment gives you the opportunity to collaborate in-person each week as we've found that we're at our best when we're purposely together on a regular basis.
