Position Overview About the programme: This 12-month apprenticeship, under India's National Apprenticeship Training Scheme, provides valuable on-the-job training; Please note, there is no obligation for permanent employment with Deutsche Bank Group upon completion of the Apprenticeship Training tenure.Role DescriptionThe Divisional Control Office (DCO) function is a dedicated risk and control, function, providing a consolidated view and central coordination of (non-financial) risks, as well as effective, efficient, and consistent standards and policies. The Group Chief Operating Office (GCOO) DCO office has coverage responsibilities for all functions within GCOO including Human Resources, Global Real Estate, Trade Settlement & Confirmation Office, Global Procurement among others.A new Control Testing Unit is being established and will work closely with other control testing teams across Infrastructure. This team will create, identify, track and report control testing activities. They will conduct independent testing (design and operating effectiveness) on different risk types in line with the Control Testing Standards.Your key responsibilities Testing deliveryExecute independent control testing (design and operating effectiveness) in line with the Control Testing methodology/minimum standardsFindings & reportingIdentify and validate control deficiencies and related risks; escalate issues/exceptions where requiredProduce transparent, high-quality workpapers and management reports that evidence testing results and findingsGovernance & planningPrepare materials for and support Risk & Control governance forums, including progress, results,



and key issuesHelp shape and deliver the annual testing plan; drive plan governance and resolve scoping conflicts with the DCO and stakeholdersStakeholder managementChallenge constructively and facilitate resolution of disagreements, including scoping and evidence gapsCoordinate effectively with control owners and other stakeholdersYour skills and experienceGood knowledge of auditing controls.Good drafting skills, including ability to record and describe complex issues clearly and succinctly, in a way that is easily understandable by any recipient of the relevant reports.
