That has made organic search our single most important commercial channel. We rank for tens of thousands of scientific queries and reach a very large research audience every month.

We are in an unusual and genuinely good position. Our rankings are robust, impressions are growing, and our average search position has improved substantially year on year. What we have not yet built is the machinery that turns that visibility into commercial conversations - the lead paths, the gated technical assets, the product routing, and the clean measurement that tells us which page actually produced an enquiry.

So this is not a "write more blog posts" job and it is not a link-building job.



It is for someone who can take a site that already has the audience and systematically convert that audience into quote requests and qualified enquiries, while re-pointing future content at the commercial, product-adjacent queries where we should be winning.

You would be the SEO owner for the business, reporting directly to the founder. No layers, no agency in between.

Search performance and technical SEO
- On-page, technical and structural SEO for assaygenie.com (BigCommerce): site architecture, internal linking, crawl and index hygiene, redirects, canonicalisation, page speed, structured data
- Continuous technical audits: cannibalisation, thin and duplicate pages, redirect chains, orphaned content, indexation waste
- Google Search Console ownership: query mining, CTR recovery through title and meta work, finding pages ranking well below the clicks their position deserves
