We are seeking a skilled Subject Matter Expert in Loan Originations with 4 to 6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in MS Excel and a strong understanding of mortgage origination and underwriting processes. This is a night shift work-from-office role with no travel requirements.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline loan origination processes and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Utilize advanced MS Excel functionalities to analyze organize and interpret loan-related data for actionable insights.
Provide expert guidance on mortgage origination and underwriting processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Monitor and evaluate loan applications to ensure adherence to regulatory and organizational guidelines.
Develop and implement strategies to improve data accuracy and minimize errors in loan processing.
Support the team in resolving complex loan-related issues by applying domain expertise in underwriting.
Conduct regular audits and reviews of loan documentation to maintain quality and compliance standards.
Train and mentor junior team members on best practices in loan origination and underwriting.
Prepare detailed reports and dashboards using MS Excel to track key performance indicators and operational metrics.
Coordinate with stakeholders to address discrepancies and ensure seamless loan processing workflows.
Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to proactively adapt processes and maintain compliance.
Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that enhance the efficiency of loan origination operations.
Ensure that all tasks are completed within the stipulated timelines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications
Possess advanced proficiency in MS Excel including pivot tables formulas and data visualization techniques.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of mortgage origination and underwriting processes with prior experience
