Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad for a Software Engineering Manager. The role involves leading and mentoring software engineering teams, setting technical direction, and overseeing end-to-end software development activities. The Software Engineering Manager will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements, architect solutions, and ensure high-quality, scalable software designs. Daily responsibilities include planning and tracking projects, managing risks and dependencies,



reviewing code and design documents, and promoting best practices in distributed systems and software engineering. The role also includes fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture, supporting career development, and ensuring alignment with Medtronic’s quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
19+ years of software engineering experience, including leadership responsibility for teams delivering desktop, connected, medical device, or healthcare software products.
Robust knowledge of desktop application architecture, design patterns, and technologies such as WPF, WinForms, WinUI, C#, .NET, C++, or similar frameworks.
Experience delivering software that interfaces with medical devices, monitoring systems, or other connected hardwa
