We are looking for an experienced and passionate Sports Tournament Organizer to join our team in Chennai and take ownership of end-to-end sports tournament operations.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working on the ground, interacting with players, coordinating teams, and making sure tournaments run smoothly from registration to prize distribution.
Key Responsibilities
Manage participant queries through phone calls and WhatsApp
Coordinate player registrations, schedules, fixtures, and match-related communication
Coordinate with players, referees, venues, sponsors, volunteers, and operations teams
Support offline marketing activities and local tournament promotions
Manage pre-tournament preparation and ensure operational readiness
Take complete ownership of tournament-day operations
Coordinate referees and ensure matches run according to schedule
Manage announcements and player communication during tournaments
Supervise volunteers and event operations staff
Handle participant issues and resolve on-ground challenges quickly




Coordinate prize distribution and ensure the closing ceremony runs smoothly
Identify operational issues proactively and take ownership of solving them
What We Are Looking For
Prior experience in organizing sports tournaments or sporting events
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent coordination and organizational abilities
Comfortable communicating with players, referees, venues, and sponsors
Ability to work under pressure during live events
Proactive, responsible, and hands-on approach
Willingness to work on weekends and tournament days
Strong problem-solving skills and an ownership mindset
Passion for sports and sports events
