Job Summary
We are looking for a Sales & Marketing Intern who is energetic, curious, and comfortable speaking to people. You will work closely with the founding team across sales, partnerships, outreach, audience building, and event marketing.
This is a hands-on role where you will get exposure to building a growing brand from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
* Reach out to potential customers, communities, professionals, speakers, and partners through WhatsApp, calls, LinkedIn, and email.
* Support ticket sales and audience acquisition for After8 events.
* Identify and build relationships with relevant communities, colleges, companies, creators, and organisations.
* Assist with speaker and partner outreach and follow-ups.
* Help develop and execute marketing campaigns for upcoming events.
* Support social media outreach, content distribution, and audience engagement.
* Research potential speakers, collaborators, venues, and partnership opportunities.
* Maintain lead lists, outreach trackers, and follow-up schedules.
* Assist with event-day coordination and guest engagement when required.
* Come up with creative ideas to increase awareness, attendance, and engagement for After8.
* Work directly with the founders and take ownership of assigned projects.
Who We're Looking For
* Students or recent graduates interested in sales, marketing, events, media, community building, or entrepreneurship.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Comfortable initiating conversations and reaching out to recent people.
