Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Compliance / Tax Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support
a multi-market Peppol e-invoicing compliance and finance transformation program across
APAC. This role is the program's primary authority on e-invoicing regulation, tax-invoice
requirements and cross-border mandate interpretation — translating fast-moving regulatory
obligations (Singapore InvoiceNow, Malaysia MyInvois, Australia/Recent Zealand Peppol
requirements, Japan JP PINT, and others) into practical requirements the delivery team can
design and build against.

Reports to: Program / Engagement Lead Works closely with: Business Analyst, Tech
Solution Architect, Tech Lead/Developer, Tester/QA, and client-side Tax/Legal/Finance
stakeholders

Key Responsibilities
 Map regulatory e-invoicing obligations across all in-scope legal entities and markets
(current mandates, phased thresholds,



and known upcoming changes)
 Assess the client's current AP/AR processes and systems against Peppol/PINT and
local tax-invoice requirements; produce a compliance gap report
 Advise on country-specific business rules (e.g., Peppol BIS/PINT SG, MyInvois
XML/PINT MY, PINT A-NZ, JP PINT) and how they affect invoice data fields,
validation rules and archival requirements
 Partner with the Business Analyst and Solution Architect to ensure the future-state
process design and technical architecture satisfy all applicable compliance and audit-
trail requirements
 Contribute to the prioritized, market-by-market compliance roadmap and participate
in design walkthroughs and sign-off
 Flag jurisdiction-specific risks (tender eligibility, penalty exposure, data-residency or
retention rules) early enough to influence design decisions
 Validate that test scenarios and conformance/certification testing correctly re
