Business Systems Analyst – GCP Cloud
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience to bridge business requirements and technical solutions across cloud-based applications and platforms. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, Agile delivery, and stakeholder management, along with a solid understanding of GCP services and cloud architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for cloud-based applications and solutions.
Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, developers, and cloud engineering teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Develop BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications.
Support GCP cloud migration, modernization, integration, and application enhancement initiatives.
Understand and work with GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Cloud Run, IAM, and Compute Engine.
Collaborate with technical teams to understand cloud architecture, data flows, APIs, integrations, security, and system dependencies.
Support SIT, UAT, test planning, defect management, and production implementation.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and work with Product Owners to prioritize requirements and maintain the backlog.
Analyze data and system behavior to identify issues, root causes, and opportunities for optimization.
Prepare process documentation, dashboards, reports, and presentations for business and technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst / Business Analyst supporting IT applications or technology initiatives.
2+ years of experience working on cloud-based projects, preferably GCP.
