Job Description
Leads and independently performs advanced food testing and sample analysis using validated methods, ensuring accurate, reliable results and compliance with laboratory quality and regulatory requirements. Provides technical guidance to Analysts and Junior Analysts and supports the Team Leader in troubleshooting, quality investigations, and laboratory operations.

Responsibilities
• Independently perform complex and routine food, water, and related sample analysis using approved and validated methods within defined TAT.
• Review test methods, specifications, raw data, calculations, LIMS entries, and analytical worksheets for accuracy, completeness, and traceability.
• Independently verify analytical results and review/approve job sheets and worksheets within defined authorization.
• Perform and monitor QC activities including blanks, standards, reference materials, control samples, and duplicates; identify and address atypical results.
• Support OOS, deviations, non-conformances, complaints,



and other laboratory investigations through technical analysis and root cause identification.
• Perform equipment performance checks, intermediate calibration, preventive maintenance, and routine troubleshooting of laboratory instruments.
• Ensure the quality, validity, preparation, standardization, and traceability of reagents, standards, media, chemicals, and critical consumables.
• Monitor laboratory TAT, sample status, and resource requirements, and proactively highlight delays, risks, or operational concerns.
• Participate in method implementation, verification/validation, technical studies, audits, accreditation assessments, and laboratory improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance and on-the-job support to Analysts, Junior Analysts, and Trainees while ensuring compliance with laboratory safety, quality systems, NABL, regulatory, and internal requirements.
