Key Responsibilities
Platform Design & Governance: Define architecture and comprehensive governance strategies for enterprise GitHub usage.
Migration & Integration: Lead transitions from legacy systems or competitor platforms to scalable GitHub environments.
Security & DevSecOps: Implement advanced security controls—such as GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS)—to align with regulatory and compliance standards
Workflow Optimization: Design scalable CI/CD pipelines, automated code reviews, and InnerSource models to accelerate developer velocity.
Strategic Advisory:



Assess organizational maturity, define adoption roadmaps, and report on key success metrics to executive stakeholders.
Mentorship: Elevate internal engineering standards by coaching technical champions and mentoring consultants.
Core Requirements & Skills
GitHub Expertise: Deep, hands-on proficiency with the GitHub ecosystem (GitHub Actions, GitHub Enterprise, GHAS, and GitHub Copilot).
DevOps & Cloud Native: Strong background in DevOps principles, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and contemporary cloud infrastructure.
Communication & Leadership: Exceptional consultative skills to translate high-level business goals into specific technical actions.
Experience: Typically 8+ years in software engineering, systems architecture, or DevOps consulting, with proven experience leading large-scale platform rollouts.
