We’re looking for a Sales Manager - Aerospace who understands how aerospace manufacturing business is actually won, from finding the right customer and getting the first enquiry to managing the RFQ and turning it into a long-term program.

This is a senior business development role for someone who already has solid experience in aerospace manufacturing sales and understands how OEMs, Tier-1s, Tier-2s and aerospace suppliers evaluate manufacturing partners.

What you’ll be working on

You’ll be responsible for building new aerospace business and developing relationships with key customers across the industry.

Your work will include:

• Finding and developing new opportunities with aerospace OEMs, Tier-1/Tier-2 companies and major suppliers
• Building a strong pipeline of aerospace enquiries, RFQs and potential programs
• Developing business for precision machining, sheet metal fabrication, structural assemblies, aero-engine components, sub-assemblies and build-to-print manufacturing
• Taking opportunities from the initial enquiry through RFQ, quotation, negotiation and order




• Working closely with Engineering, Estimation, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain and Program teams to put together the right proposal
• Understanding customer drawings, specifications, quality requirements and manufacturing expectations at a practical level
• Building relationships with procurement, sourcing, engineering, supplier quality and program teams
• Identifying opportunities to grow existing customer accounts and win additional programs
• Keeping track of RFQs, quotations, customer feedback, forecasts and business development activities through CRM
• Representing the company at aerospace exhibitions, customer meetings, supplier events and industry forums
• Supporting customer qualification, audits and onboarding when required
