Role Description:-

The Bakery/Pastry Assistant New Product Development Chef is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role supports the development of new bakery and pastry products from concept to production, working closely with the culinary and R&D; teams.



Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and baking test batches, assisting in recipe formulation and standardization, documenting processes and results, and maintaining accurate records of trials. The role involves coordinating with production staff to ensure smooth scale-up of successful recipes, checking product quality and consistency, and adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. The assistant will also help with ingredient sourcing trials, shelf-life and stability testing, and preparation for customer tastings and product presentations.

Qualifications:-

Diploma or certification in bakery, pastry arts, culinary arts, or a related field is preferred.
Solid foundation in bakery and baking techniques, with hands-on experience in commercial or artisanal environments.
Proficiency in food preparation for baked goods, including mise en place, mixing, shaping, and finishing.
