Key Responsibilities
Administer works contracts (EPC/Item-Rate) under Indian Railways/GCC guidelines, ensuring compliance and evaluating time extensions, variations, and claims.
Analyze contractor claims, draft formal determinations, and assist Railway authorities and legal counsel in arbitration, conciliation, and litigation proceedings.
Ensure project operations adhere to railway safety codes, labor laws, environmental regulations, and coordinate clearances with statutory bodies like the CRS.
Require an LL.B./B.A. LL.B. (or Engineering degree with specialization in construction law) with min 3 to 5 years of infrastructure experience, specifically handling major railway or transport projects.
