Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The Accountant will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, prepare and review financial statements, and ensure accuracy in general ledger entries. Responsibilities include processing invoices, handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank and cash accounts, and assisting with monthly and annual closing activities. The role also involves preparing tax-related documentation, supporting audits,



and maintaining compliance with local financial regulations. The Accountant will collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to clarify financial data, respond to queries, and provide basic financial insights that support decision-making.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and spreadsheet tools such as Microsoft Excel.
Experience with bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing.
Understanding of local tax regulations, compliance requirements, and audit support processes.
Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.
