About the Role
NewArtX is looking for a seasoned Backend Engineer with deep expertise in Node.js and working knowledge of Nest.js. Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and optimize scalable backend systems using Node.js
Collaborate with frontend teams for seamless end-to-end integrations
Develop and maintain RESTful or GraphQL APIs
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
Drive backend architecture discussions and contribute technical expertise
Partner with DevOps/QA to support CI/CD pipelines and deployments
Lead and mentor junior developers (if applicable)
Stay up to date with evolving backend and Web3 technologies

Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in backend development using Node.js




Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and async programming
Hands-on with Express.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks
Familiarity with Next.js and full-stack integration concepts
Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other relational/NoSQL databases
Solid understanding of API security (OAuth, JWT)
Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, and containerization (Docker)
Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
Prior leadership or mentorship experience
Exposure to Web3/blockchain technologies (smart contracts, etc.)
Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure
Understanding of microservices architecture
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
