The candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement of FOS (Non-Project) items, ensuring timely sourcing, cost effectiveness, and adherence to company standards. The role requires strong vendor management, effective negotiation skills, and explicit communication to coordinate smoothly with vendors as well as internal customers. The candidate must be capable of procuring materials in full compliance with L&T; standards while maintaining accurate documentation, including certificates, registrations, and safety records. The position involves continuous coordination with vendors and internal departments to ensure timely availability of materials at competitive prices while meeting required quality and safety standards. The candidate should be proactive, capable of handling work independently as well as through company-driven processes, and demonstrate initiative in resolving procurement-related challenges.

A minimum of 2 to 8 years of experience in the purchase department is required. Candidates with a Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical engineering or a B.Sc. qualification are suitable for this role.
