Key Responsibilities

Provide confidential, age-appropriate counselling and emotional support to students.
Support students experiencing anxiety, academic stress, bullying, friendship difficulties, family concerns, low self-esteem and behavioural or emotional challenges.
Identify students who may require additional psychological or specialist support and make appropriate referrals.
Work closely with teachers to identify and respond to emerging student wellbeing concerns.




Meet with parents and provide appropriate guidance regarding student wellbeing and development.
Develop and conduct age-appropriate wellbeing programmes and workshops for students.
Support initiatives related to bullying prevention, emotional regulation, resilience, digital wellbeing and healthy relationships.
Conduct sessions for students, parents and teachers on relevant mental-health and wellbeing topics.
Maintain appropriate skilled records and documentation while protecting student confidentiality.
Follow the school’s safeguarding and child-protection procedures, including appropriate escalation of concerns relating to abuse, self-harm or risk to a student’s safety.
Build and maintain a professional referral network with external psychologists, psychiatrists, developmental specialists and other relevant professionals.
Contribute to the development of a comprehensive student wellbeing programme across the school.
