Are you an experienced SCADA / Industrial Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Ignition SCADA?
We’re looking for an Ignition SCADA Integration R&D; Engineer to join our team and work on next-generation industrial automation and software integration solutions.
? Location: Pune
? Experience: 4–8 Years
? Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech – Instrumentation & Controls / Industrial Automation
? Must-Have Skills:
✅ Ignition SCADA – Perspective, Gateway, Tag Management, UDTs & Templates
✅ Ignition installation, configuration, architecture, licensing & administration
✅ Python / Jython scripting within Ignition
✅ Industrial Automation / SCADA / System Integration experience
✅ PLC communication & industrial protocols – OPC UA/DA, Modbus TCP, Ethernet/IP, TCP/UDP
⭐ Good to Have:
• PostgreSQL – historian, reporting & transactions
• Java fundamentals / custom Ignition modules
• OT/IT integration & APIs
• gRPC-based software integration
• XML and backend integration
?️ What You’ll Work On:
• Develop and validate the SCADA layer of a web-based industrial automation platform
• Configure Ignition tags, UDTs, alarms, historian and SCADA data models
• Develop Python/Jython scripts and PostgreSQL transactions/reporting
• Integrate PLCs, field devices and software applications
• Work with Java/.NET teams on custom Ignition modules and backend services
• Perform end-to-end integration testing, commissioning, and system validation
