Daily Responsibilities
Start of Shift
Verify bus availability and readiness.
Check driver/attendant attendance.
Review scheduled trips and crew deployment.
Check previous day's incidents and pending issues.
Confirm vehicle cleanliness, safety and documentation.
During Operations
Monitor departure and arrival performance.
Track bus movement and route adherence.
Coordinate breakdown/replacement vehicles.
Monitor driver behaviour and operational discipline.
Handle passenger/customer complaints.
Escalate major operational incidents immediately.
End of Shift
Reconcile scheduled vs. actual trips.
Record delays, cancellations and breakdowns.
Update crew attendance.
Review customer complaints and actions taken.
Prepare daily MIS.
Handover pending issues to the next shift.
