Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Steward / Captain role based in Mumbai. The role involves welcoming guests, presenting menus, taking orders accurately, and coordinating with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely, high-quality food and beverage service. The Steward / Captain will oversee table settings, maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the service area,



and ensure that all service standards and safety protocols are followed. Responsibilities include managing guest queries or concerns, supporting reservation and seating plans, and assisting with billing and payment procedures. The position also involves guiding junior team members, participating in training sessions, and contributing to smooth daily operations during peak service hours and special events.
Qualifications
Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with guests.
Knowledge of food & beverage operations and food service standards, including menu items, basic culinary terms, and service etiquette.
Experience in training or mentoring team members, with the ability to support skill development and uphold service quality.
Previous experience in restaurants, cafes, lounges, or hotels preferred, ideally in steward, captain, or front-of-
