Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Cost Estimation: Substation professional based in Ahmedabad. The role involves preparing detailed cost estimates for AIS and GIS substations, including equipment, materials,



civil works, erection, testing, and commissioning activities. The individual will analyze technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents, develop item-wise BOQs, and obtain and evaluate vendor and contractor quotations. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with engineering and procurement teams, updating cost databases, performing rate analysis, and supporting bid preparation and techno-commercial proposals. The role also includes tracking actual project costs versus estimates, identifying variances, and contributing to cost optimization and budgeting for ongoing and future substation projects.
Qualifications
Robust substation engineering and power systems knowledge, including familiarity with AIS/GIS substations, switchyard equipment, protection and control systems, and relevant industry standards.
