Required Technical Skills
Core PHP β€” strong fundamentals and 0–2 years of hands-on development experience
PHP frameworks β€” Laravel and CakePHP (CodeIgniter, Symfony, or similar also acceptable)
MySQL / MariaDB β€” schema design, query writing, indexing, and optimization
OOP & MVC β€” solid grasp of object-oriented programming and MVC architecture
RESTful APIs β€” designing, building, and integrating APIs
Front-end basics β€” HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
Version control β€” Git and team-oriented workflows (branching, pull requests, code reviews)
Debugging & performance β€” troubleshooting production issues and optimizing high-volume transactions
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Python β€” working knowledge for scripting, automation, or backend tasks




Cron jobs & queues β€” scheduled tasks and job queues (e.g., automated daily order generation)
Caching β€” Redis or Memcached
Cloud & servers β€” AWS (or similar), Linux server basics, CI/CD pipelines
Third-party integrations β€” payment gateways, SMS APIs, mapping/routing APIs (Google Maps, etc.)
API security β€” authentication, authorization, and secure API design (JWT, OAuth)
Frontend frameworks β€” Vue.js or React (exposure)
Mobile backends β€” supporting Android/iOS apps as API consumers
