We are looking for a Development Support Engineer to join our Engineering Support team in Bangalore. We are seeking candidates with 3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, production/application support, Linux administration, and Java application troubleshooting.
The ideal candidate will have solid practical experience with Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Linux, JVM troubleshooting, and production environments.

This is a production support and DevOps-focused role, involving troubleshooting complex technical issues, analyzing application and infrastructure problems, collaborating with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams, and providing timely solutions to customer and internal technical challenges.
Please note: This is not a Java Developer role. Candidates whose primary experience is Java application development without hands-on DevOps and production support experience will not be considered.




The role requires working in rotational shifts based on business and support requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Java applications, integrations, and DevOps environments.
Troubleshoot Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
Perform JVM troubleshooting and analysis using thread dumps, heap dumps, and garbage collection logs.
Assist with complex setup, configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of tools and environments.
Recommend and implement DevOps and application support best practices.

Customer Engagement
Respond to customer inquiries through ticketing systems, email, and occasionally phone for urgent issues.
Understand customer technical challenges and provide effective, tailored solutions.
Communicate technical issues and resolutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
