Key Responsibilities
Lead software Validation of device drivers (Eg : FLS, FEE, FLSLDR, MCU, SPI, I2C, CAN, LIN, Ethernet, MEM, Timers, ADC, and PWM etc.) and safety software in an independent/RTOS environment on Infineon’s automotive microcontrollers
Develop Test Strategy and institutionalize the methods and related templates to enable the usage of the tools and test equipment wherever required/possible
Envisage, implement, institutionalize and maintain the verification and validation methods and infrastructure (e.g. automation to improve quality and efficiency in terms of cost and time )
Drive innovation in the form of new advancements (test methods/tools, test automation, test infrastructure) in the team
Institutionalize software test processes compliant with Automotive standards (e.g. ISO26262, ASPICE)
Accountable for overall quality of validation deliverables
Able to set the technical direction by providing suitable methods for testing /validation in the complete project.
Conduct workshops and mentor the team on technical challenges being faced from time to time. (e.g. safety issues, common testing issues,)
To participate in Change control board meetings and ability to technically argue the safety assessments by providing necessary evidences.
Plan and participate in future technologies and projects
Generate current methods and techniques for better work models
Develop SW architecture and driver code for MCAL modules
7+ years of experience
Mandatory Skills:
Aurix, Bitbucket, C++, Confluence, Eclipse, FMEA, Git, Hightec Compiler, Jira, Software Development
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.
