Role Description The Arabic MSA Expert (Audio Validation and Transcription) is a full-time remote role responsible for validating and transcribing Modern Standard Arabic audio data. Day-to-day tasks include listening to audio recordings, verifying linguistic accuracy, checking alignment between audio and transcripts, and correcting any errors in pronunciation, wording, or formatting. The role also involves annotating audio according to project guidelines, ensuring consistency in language usage and labeling, and documenting issues or patterns found in the data.



Collaboration with project managers and other language experts to meet quality standards and deadlines is a key part of this position.
Qualifications

Strong expertise in Modern Standard Arabic, with excellent listening, comprehension, and transcription skills.
Experience with audio-focused skills such as Live Sound and Audio Engineering.
Proficiency in Audio Editing and familiarity with Audio Visual (AV) Systems.
Comfort using digital tools and platforms, including Social Media and online collaboration tools.
High attention to detail, with the ability to follow strict annotation and validation guidelines.
Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently in a remote, full-time setting.
Prior experience in linguistics, speech processing, translation, or data annotation is beneficial.
Relevant education or training in linguistics, language studies, audio engineering, or a related field is
