Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with a strong background in automation testing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation frameworks and tools. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Document test cases, test results, and defects in a clear and concise manner.
Mentor junior team members in automation testing best practices.




Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in automation testing.

Mandatory Skills

Strong expertise in automation testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
Ability to analyze complex software systems and identify potential issues.

Preferred Skills

Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with cloud-based testing environments.
Robust problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
