Business Development Manager – Transportation & Mobility

Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Development Manager with strong experience in Business Development, Sales and Government Liaisoning, preferably within the transportation, mobility, infrastructure or consulting sector.

The role requires extensive field travel and regular interaction with government departments, consultants, transport authorities, traffic police, PWDs, ULBs and private mobility/transport consulting companies.

The candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, managing government relationships, tracking tenders, preparing proposals, negotiating with clients and closing projects.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Client Relationship

Identify and pursue business opportunities with PWD, ULBs, Traffic Police and Transport Departments.




Develop relationships with government officials, consultants and key decision-makers.
Conduct regular client meetings at urban and district levels.
Maintain relationships with existing clients and generate repeat business.
Identify recent projects and business opportunities within the transportation and mobility sector.

Tendering & Proposal Management

Monitor tenders through Tender Tiger, eProc, GeM and other tender platforms.
Identify and shortlist relevant business opportunities.
Coordinate with Operations, Technology and Finance teams for proposal preparation.
Understand BOQs, eligibility criteria, scope of work and competitor pricing.
Ensure timely and accurate tender submissions.

Field Sales & Government Liaisoning

Conduct extensive field visits, site meetings, inspections and tender follow-ups.
Visit PWD offices, Traffic Police offices, Transport Departments and consultant offices.
Attend pre-bid meetings, project
