Company Description NGO Parivartan is a non-governmental organization dedicated to supporting persons with mental illness and their families in the Tricity region of Chandigarh. Established in 2009 as a venture of the Department of Psychiatry at Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector-32, Chandigarh, it continues the vision of its founder, Late Dr. B. S. Chavan. The organization is formally registered under the Societies Registration Act, the Darpan portal of the Planning Commission, Government of India, and the Rights of Persons with Disability (RPWD) Act, 2016. Parivartan focuses on creating lasting, constructive change through services such as crisis resolution and home-based treatment, community awareness, caregiver support, psychoeducation,



rehabilitation at home, and outreach to destitute persons with mental illness. Its programs also include recreational groups for caregivers, oral screening and testing, and voluntary engagement initiatives.
Role Description This is a full-time, in office Nurse role based in Chandigarh, India. The Nurse will provide direct patient care to persons with mental illness across Parivartan’s programs, including crisis resolution, home-based treatment, and community-based rehabilitation services.
