Role Description The Assistant Professor in Biomedical Engineering (BME) will teach undergraduate courses, guide laboratory sessions, and support learners through mentoring and academic advising. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, delivering lectures, evaluating assessments, and maintaining accurate academic records. The role also involves contributing to curriculum development, engaging in research or scholarly activities, and participating in departmental and institutional committees.



The Assistant Professor will be expected to support outreach activities, collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects, and uphold academic and ethical standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Villianur.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Biomedical Engineering or related disciplines, with the ability to teach core and elective courses.
Relevant academic qualifications, typically a Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field.
Demonstrated ability in classroom teaching, learner engagement, and effective communication in English.
Experience in laboratory instruction, experimental design, and handling biomedical equipment and software tools.
Interest in research, publications, and continuous professional development in Biomedical Engineering and allied areas.
