Highway Design Manager – Road & Highways

Job Description





The Highway Design Manager is responsible for leading and managing the design and engineering activities for highway, expressway, road, and transportation infrastructure projects. The role involves planning, coordinating, reviewing, and delivering highway design solutions in compliance with client requirements, national/international standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Highway Design & Engineering

Lead the geometric design of highways, expressways, urban roads, interchanges, intersection.
Review and approve alignment studies, horizontal and vertical profiles, cross-sections, and corridor development plans in plan & hilly areas.
Ensure compliance with IRC, MoRTH, NHAI, AASHTO, and other applicable design standards.
Coordinate pavement, drainage, traffic, and structural design interfaces.
Prepare and review feasibility studies, DPRs (Detailed Project Reports), and detailed engineering designs.
Project Management

Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for design
