About The Role

We are seeking a talented and autonomous Animator to join our VR game development team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality character and weapon animations that meet strict performance standards for standalone VR headsets. You will work independently from concept to implementation, rigging and skinning your own assets in Blender, exporting them into Unity, and integrating them seamlessly into the game setting.



This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of your assets throughout the entire development cycle, collaborating closely with design, programming, and art teams to enhance the overall game feel and user experience.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hand-keyed animation, rigging, and skinning within Blender, with proven experience in game development pipelines. A solid understanding of Unity's Animator system, including state machines, transitions, blend trees, and avatar setup, is essential. Candidates should have a portfolio or reel demonstrating their ability to produce clean, performant, and reusable animation assets. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are required. A minimum of one full production cycle of animation work, including character and weapon animation, is expected.
