About The Role

We are seeking a agile, result-oriented, and highly experienced Senior Software Sales Engineer to lead our software sales initiatives across India. This pivotal role involves strategizing and executing sales plans to promote ZEISS’s advanced metrology software solutions, including CALYPSO, PiWeb, Gear, and Blade solutions,



among others. The ideal candidate will possess a deep technical understanding of industrial metrology, combined with strong commercial acumen and leadership capabilities. As a key driver of growth, you will oversee the entire sales lifecycle—from lead generation and technical qualification to quoting and negotiating high-value purchase orders. You will also guide and mentor a high-performing, pan-India sales team, enabling them to penetrate new markets, expand existing customer relationships, and maximize revenue potential in alignment with ZEISS’s strategic objectives.

Qualifications

Educational background should include a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field. An MBA in Sales or Marketing is highly advantageous and preferred. Candidates must have at least 6+ years of proven experience in industrial software sales
