The Merchandise Specialist is responsible for driving product performance through analysis, forecasting, pricing, promotions, assortment planning, and stock management. The role involves monitoring sales and inventory trends, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders, managing demand planning and fulfilment activities, supporting range selection and business planning, and ensuring effective allocation and stock balancing across stores. They will also oversee and coach the Assistant Merchandisers, collaborate closely with buying and planning teams, and supports day-to-day trading activities to optimize commercial performance and achieve business objectives.
