- Ensure uninterrupted supplies of material to User Department & patients.
- Ensuring that all protocols are maintained by Receiving Department such as quantity as per Purchase Order, quality, etc.
- Proper Storage of materials according to their storage conditions.
- ABC Analysis: To control rates of A & B Class items
- FSN Analysis. Returns of material to supplier 3 months prior to expiry.
- VED Analysis: To ensure availability of all Vital items on 24/365 basis
- To ensure the secure storage of surgical in Store as per FDA and NABH norms.
- Timely preparation of GRNs for material received.
- Timely submission of vendor invoices to Accounts with GRNs data.
- Physical Stock Checking: To ensure that there are no variances between physical & system stocks
- Maintaining good working relationship among department personnel, medical staff, other hospital employees and patients.
