Roles & Responsibilities-:
- Lead and execute the NPD projects for refrigeration display case doors, ensuring compliance requirements and performance standards.
Design Sheetmetal parts and weldment assembly independently. Drive VAVE projects starting from leading ideation sessions, project pipeline generation, project execution and Savings tracking.
- Manage drawing creation, approval, and release through EPDM systems, ensuring version control and traceability. Ensure drawings meets GD&T; and Tolerance requirements. Ensure design robustness through simulation, structural and thermal validation, and functional testing.
- Apply DFM/DFA principles to enhance manufacturability and cost efficiency. Conduct DFMEA and DVPR to arrive a validation plan and ensure design meets specifications. Validate designs through FEA simulation and technical reviews.
- Resolve product or manufacturing problems on major product lines individually or as part of a group as job duties require. Hands-on work on shop floor, as job requires.
