OVERVIEW

Lead BI ideation, consulting, and delivery while owning the design of governed, reusable semantic models using Looker, LookML, and BigQuery. Enable trusted metrics, consistent business definitions, dashboards, self-service analytics, and AI-enabled BI capabilities. As an individual contributor, partner with business and Digital & Technology teams to deliver standardized, user-friendly solutions.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Design and evolve scalable, governed semantic models using Looker, LookML, and BigQuery.
- Build reusable domain and use-case models with clear standards for performance,



quality, security, and downstream use.
- Translate business needs into intuitive views, Explores, dimensions, measures, joins, and business logic.
- Define and maintain certified metrics, business terms, metadata, glossaries, guardrails, and test suites.
- Enable trusted conversational and agentic BI through governed semantic models and natural-language-ready definitions.
- Develop and optimize SQL and BigQuery solutions using sound dimensional modeling and cost-efficient practices.
- Lead governance, access controls, security, certification, monitoring, auditing, Git workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD.
- Partner with stakeholders to shape BI strategy, clarify business problems, communicate trade-offs, and deliver impactful solutions.
- Mentor team members and champion BI standards, automation, tool rationalization, and continuous improvement.
