Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IBM i Administrator to manage and maintain our IBM i (AS/400, iSeries) systems. The ideal candidate will be proficient in day-to-day operations, monitoring, and performance tuning,



with a strong secondary focus on IBM i security hardening, compliance, and best practices.

You will work as a key member of our IT infrastructure team to ensure system availability, reliability, and security in a mission-critical environment.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

System Operations
- Monitor and manage the health, performance, and availability of IBM i systems.
- Execute and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Perform IPLs, system saves, PTF installations, and license key updates.
- Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot batch jobs and job queues.
- Perform daily system checks and log reviews to ensure optimal operation.
- Collaborate with application teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize system usage.

Security & Hardening
- Conduct IBM i security audits and implement corrective actions to address vulnerabilities.
