As an MES Project Modeler you will support the Siemens Opcenter MES rollout across Alcon’s diverse manufacturing sites. You will translate process maps and operational requirements into fully configured workflows within the Opcenter ecosystem. This position requires close partnership with the manufacturing operations, quality, engineering, and IT teams to ensure the digital representation of the shop-floor processes deliver the efficiency, standardization, traceability, and compliance in the production setting.

The ideal candidate understands both manufacturing operations and MES configuration principles,



with hands‑on experience modeling workflows, rules, and integration touchpoints within Siemens Opcenter.

Key Responsibilities:
Workflow Modeling & Configuration
- Convert process maps, user requirements, and manufacturing procedures into functional Opcenter Execution workflows
- Configure MES objects including operations, work instructions, process steps, workflows, rules, forms, data collection plans, and electronic records
- Manage MES master data and ensure alignment with SAP, automation, and other shop‑floor systems
- Develop and maintain workflow logic, business rules, and exception handling to support manufacturing operations

Collaboration & Requirements Management
- Partner with manufacturing engineers, process owners, and production teams to validate requirements and ensure MES functionality aligns with real‑world processes
