Key Responsibilities

Solar PV Design

Design rooftop and ground-mount solar PV layouts using AutoCAD, ensuring optimal placement of modules, inverters, and electrical components
Conduct site assessments, shading analysis, and load calculations to determine the most productive solar solution for each project
Prepare single-line diagrams (SLD), electrical schematics, cable routing, and mounting structure designs
Run PVsyst simulations to estimate energy generation, assess losses, and evaluate performance (PR, CUF)
Ensure all designs meet IEEE and other applicable technical/regulatory standards

Project Monitoring & Management

Monitor and manage multiple ongoing solar installation projects/sites simultaneously, tracking progress against timelines
Coordinate with site Managers and vendors to ensure safety, quality, and on-time execution
Track daily/weekly generation and site progress data, and prepare performance and status reports for management




Diagnose and help resolve on-site technical issues and faults during installation and commissioning
Support procurement and material coordination across active projects
Maintain project documentation, technical reports, and client-facing presentations

Requirements

Any bachelor's degree with experience in Solar power plant designing
3 – 5 years of experience in solar PV design
Hands-on working knowledge of AutoCAD and PVsyst (SketchUp / Solar Lab is a plus)
Understanding of SLD preparation, cable/string sizing, and BOM/BOQ estimation
Demonstrated ability to independently track and manage multiple project sites and timelines at once
Strong communication and coordination skills to liaise with site teams and vendors
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
