Role Description The Lead – Farm Development role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for guiding and supporting partner farmers in adopting and implementing Akshayakalpa’s organic,



sustainable dairy farming practices. Day-to-day responsibilities include visiting farms, assessing infrastructure and processes, and designing development plans that enhance animal welfare, fodder management, and milk quality. The Lead will coordinate training programs, mentor farmers on entrepreneurship and farm economics, and ensure compliance with organic certification and internal quality standards. The role also involves collaborating with internal technical, quality, and operations teams to continuously improve farm performance and contribute to scaling Akshayakalpa’s sustainable farm network.
Qualifications
- Experience in dairy farm management or livestock farming, with strong knowledge of organic and sustainable agriculture practices.
- Skills in farmer engagement, training, and stakeholder management, with the ability to build trust and mentor diverse farmer communities.
