Purchase Executive / Procurement Executive

Job Summary

Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, products, and services required by the organization while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

Location: Bangalore

Salary Range (India)-₹2.5–4.5 LPA

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate suppliers/vendors.
- Obtain quotations and compare prices, quality, and delivery terms.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with suppliers.
- Create and process purchase orders.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain vendor records and procurement documentation.
- Coordinate with production, stores, finance, and other departments.
- Resolve issues related to shortages, quality concerns, or delivery delays.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Prepare procurement reports and analyze purchasing data.

- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.).
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain functions (depending on role level).

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in vendor development and contract management.
- Knowledge of inventory control and logistics.
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management is an advantage.
