About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Finance Controller to lead and oversee the finance and accounting function. The role will be responsible for financial reporting, accounting controls, budgeting, compliance, cash-flow management, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.

The ideal candidate should have a robust NBFC background, combined with experience in managing finance functions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall finance, accounting, reporting, and controllership function.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Monitor and manage working capital, cash flows, receivables, payables, and liquidity.
- Establish and strengthen financial controls, accounting processes, and governance mechanisms.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation requirements, statutory regulations, and internal policies.




- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants, banks, and other financial stakeholders.
- Oversee MIS and management reporting, providing actionable financial insights to senior management.
- Monitor profitability, costs, margins, and key financial KPIs and identify opportunities for cost optimisation.
- Ensure appropriate controls around inventory, high-value assets, cash, banking transactions, and financial reconciliations, particularly relevant to a jewellery/retail environment.
- Support management in evaluating business investments, expansion plans, financing requirements, and other strategic financial decisions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.
- Strengthen financial systems, processes, and ERP-driven reporting to improve efficiency and accuracy.
